I had heard for a long time that all the karst landscapes in the world could be found in Longgong. At that time, I was looking forward to having the chance to have a beautiful encounter with Longgong when I had some free time. By chance, I was fortunate enough to join the "Collaborative Tour of Chinese (Guizhou) University Media Alliance and Ctrip Travel Network to Explore the Longgong Scenic Area for Cultural Research" organized by them.

At 7:30 a.m. on March 27th, 2016, filled with immense excitement, I and my friends set off on our journey to the Dragon Palace. all the way
Above all, the person in charge of Ctrip treated us very well, which made us feel extremely warm.

The train moved slowly, entering the area of Anshun. As it approached, what came into view were neatly arranged houses and vast fields of sunflowers. I had only heard before that the sunflowers in Anshun were beautiful, but I never imagined they were so stunningly beautiful. It's truly better to see it with one's own eyes than to hear about it a hundred times! Throughout the journey, I couldn't even close my eyes, fearing that if I did, all of this would disappear. Because I wanted to firmly imprint her beauty in my mind. I think the people of Anshun are happy, able to grow in this sea of flowers.

Unconsciously, we arrived at the destination we had been looking forward to for a long time - Anshun Dragon Palace - a national AAAA-level scenic spot. How beautiful is the Dragon Palace really? Is it as amazing as others have described? Let's explore this mysterious place together.

Guided by the tour guide, we embarked on the exploration of the Dragon Palace. The first thing that caught our attention was the Dragon Son Square. This place is called Dragon Son Square because there are nine karst formations here that resemble the nine sons of a dragon. These karst formations vary in appearance, some being fierce and terrifying while others are cute and endearing, each with its own unique charm.

After seeing the variously attired sons of the dragon, surrounded by magnificent mountains and beautiful scenery, we arrived at the most spectacular cave waterfall in China - Longmen Flying Waterfall. Dragon
The Gate Waterfall is formed by the cascading of water from Tianchi Lake. It is a typical karst underground waterfall. The waterfall pours down from a cave entrance resembling a skylight, and its magnificent momentum is truly awe-inspiring.

Walking along the winding mountain path where countless tourists have left their footprints, one can occasionally hear the chirping of birds in the forest and the gurgling of the spring. Especially in this flower-blooming season of February, there are also occasional wafts of floral fragrance, making one linger and forget to leave.

Here is a peaceful place that can relax you. It has no hustle and bustle of the city, no noise of the mundane world. There is only a kind of tranquility similar to that of the countryside, but not exactly a countryside.
There is a rare sense of serenity. Believe it or not, as I stroll along this peaceful mountain path, my heart becomes calm. All the complexities of life, all the troublesome things that bother you, will quietly disappear. So, please don't disturb me!

I have to admit that the amazing craftsmanship of nature is truly astonishing. I really don't know how much it has been refined before creating this beautiful karst cave. Me and my friends took a boat ride in this colorful cave river that resembles a splendid night sky, experiencing the excitement brought by this unique and perilous karst landform wonder, as if we had entered a time tunnel.

Following the winding and rugged path, we arrived at the natural medicinal valley, which is known as a paradise. Every plant and tree here gives you a sense of tranquility and joy, and will make you unconsciously relax yourself in this idyllic place. Don't believe it? Just look at my adorable friends, how happy they are!

Unintentionally, we arrived at the largest cave temple in China - Guanyin Cave. Guanyin Cave is a semi-open, open-type dry cave. Its most distinctive feature is that all the temples were not built by humans but formed naturally through the dissolution of rocks. Guanyin Cave is surrounded by seven mountain peaks evenly, resembling seven lotus flowers. Below the peaks, there are green bamboos for contrast, and there is also clear water surrounding it.

Here, the scenery is beautiful and charming, especially in spring when the tender buds of the willows first emerge. The willows, reflected in the water, form a harmonious landscape painting. Look, the distant mountains, set against the water surface, are simply breathtaking. No wonder it has the nickname "Little Guilin". If one could take a boat ride on the lake at this time, it would be an extremely pleasant experience.

The Longgong Xuantang scenic area, where the water flows around the mountains instead of the other way around, is a typical example of karst funnel landform. Due to its unique topography and landform, it has created the extraordinary scenes of "the mountains do not flow but the water does" and "water divides into two parts". As we enter the Xuantang scenic area, we will see a huge "dragon" character planted with rapeseed and broad beans together. It is said that this "dragon" character was copied from the cursive script of the famous calligrapher Huaiwu. The green body of the dragon character is spread out among the golden rapeseed flowers, making it particularly dazzling. My friends and I were all stunned!

After experiencing the magnificent and mysterious atmosphere of the Dragon Palace, our boss, who is very considerate and kind-hearted like Ctrip, began to organize a free lunch for us. My friends and I were extremely touched.

Yes, this is the sumptuous lunch that the boss has prepared for us. Have you envied it? If you do, just go to Ctrip. After all,
Not everyone can provide such excellent service.

Our exploration of the Dragon Palace came to an end amid beautiful scenery and touching moments. However, it must be said that the Dragon Palace scenic area is indeed a mysterious fairyland. Its mystery always makes you linger and forget to leave. The lingering sounds of the forest and the flowing water of the spring await your listening and perception. The bizarre stalactites and grotesque formations await your exploration.
