When I was young, whenever I wrote an essay, I always liked to mention that time flies like a swift horse, slipping through the gaps of time. My grandiose sighs could never outpace the rising sun in the morning. There was a sense of helpless resignation. Suddenly, after the college entrance examination, I crossed over 1,800 kilometers from the yellow earth hill and arrived in Guiyang, a scenic spot in the southwestern region of China, and have been here for nearly three years. Unconsciously, I spent the first year of university in a confused yet curious state, the second year in a calm yet tense and busy state, and the third year in a confused yet quiet and transformative state... I have witnessed the magnificent waves and splendor of the great landscapes of our motherland, experienced the confidence on the splendid stage, and also suffered the invasion of icy rain when I was frustrated. It seems that I have experienced a lot and my heart has become much harder. It feels like I haven't left the school for a long time. In my memory, I always spent the whole day in the library. When I was tired, I would practice calligraphy or read the magazines I liked before. I didn't want to carry a backpack and immerse myself in the embrace of nature, isolating myself in a small world, feeling self-pity...

However, fortunately, this time I had the opportunity to participate in a "Dragon Palace" exploration trip under the sponsorship of Ctrip Travel. I accompanied the journalism team of Guizhou University, as well as the relevant organizations from Shigu University and Minzu University. Everywhere we went, the beautiful scenery told me: It's time to go out and explore. Reading thousands of books is important, but traveling thousands of miles is also indispensable.

We are students from Guizhou University. We got up at 6:00 in the morning to prepare. At 6:40, we gathered at the school gate of the North Campus of Guizhou University and took the No. 203 bus together to the railway station. We then joined the bus from Ctrip and set off at 7:50. We officially embarked on the journey to Longgong, Anshun.

The third-year students are usually not as enthusiastic about everything as the freshmen are. After sleeping quietly in the car for 2 hours, I opened the Baidu Map and found that it would only take one minute to reach Longgong. I excitedly looked out of the window at the lush trees. Suddenly, I felt that there might be a mysterious agreement between me and Longgong, an interesting connection that linked us together. In an instant, I had a sudden urge of regret for not having visited such a 5A-level scenic spot - a place with a legend about dragons. Why have I been in Guizhou for three years and haven't visited such a famous 5A-level tourist attraction - a place with the legend of dragons?

In April, it might not be the best season to appreciate the Dragon Palace. Amid the gentle drizzle, we arrived at this place which has the most and the most concentrated karst caves in the world. At this time, the rape flowers had withered, the waterfall flow was not very strong, and there weren't many tourists. But fortunately, I experienced the unique charm of the Dragon Palace during this period. A wonderful scene telling a story about the dragon.

We are amazed by the extraordinary craftsmanship of nature, which always aligns so perfectly with human thoughts. The central scenic area of the Dragon Palace, namely the Linglong Lake, left the deepest impression on me. Looking across, the dragon bones in the stream are faintly visible, and the dragon heads and tails are so freely submerged in the water, as if a solemn dragon lord is quietly contemplating and recalling the ancient, magnificent and cruel battle among the dragon clans... There is also a fierce tiger on the lake bank, looking at the dragon lord with dissatisfaction, wanting to challenge the dragon lord's patience and waiting for a contest between the strong ones. This is perhaps the reason for "The Roar of the Tiger and the Singing of the Dragon".

Perhaps we are no longer the naive children who readily believed in fairy tales back in our childhood. As the spring rain gently falls, mingling with a touch of coolness, the little friends laugh and play, chasing and wrestling, capturing this magnificent landscape of lakes and mountains with their cameras. In their ears, the tour guide sister tells fantastical stories about the Dragon Palace, the Dragon King, and the Third Princess of the Dragon King... In a daze, I recall the younger self who loved listening to stories and was playful and fond of热闹 (meaning lively and cheerful). The self was pure, simple, and full of childlike charm.

Nature is the best teacher for children, and in fact, it is also an ideal playground for adults. While taking a boat tour through the karst caves that are crossed by underground rivers, we marvel at the wonders of nature. The seemingly random water droplets, after hundreds, thousands, or even tens of thousands of tiny drips over hundreds of years, have created astonishing spectacles that amaze the world. What's even more remarkable is that on the land of the descendants of the dragon, this has brought about the eternal legend of the dragon race, evoking deep resonance among the sons and daughters of China.

The survival rules of nature always offer us enlightenment. Now, we have also grown up through thousands of days and nights, through the quantitative changes of insignificant or unexpected small matters, eventually accumulating and developing to achieve qualitative change, transforming into the desired colorful butterflies, and continuing to evolve and change.

"Even if a mountain is not tall, it gains fame with the presence of a deity; even if a river is not deep, it becomes magical with the presence of a dragon." Immersing oneself in nature, having a dragon in one's heart, will surely bring unexpected rewards. Thank you, the Dragon Palace and I, for our mysterious agreement. In the rain of April, it encouraged me to keep moving forward. It takes more than a day to wear away a stone with water dripping. As long as one perseveres without giving up, just like the beautiful scenery in the Dragon Palace's cave, silence is not the end, but a sudden burst of brilliance.
