The "Dragon Field" adopts a method of intercropping two types of crops. It is inspired by the cursive calligraphy of the Tang Dynasty calligrapher Huaisu. Covering an area of approximately 80,000 square meters, it is the largest single-character Chinese symbol in the world and is one of the three wonders of the Dragon Palace. The combination of the dragon and the field also adds more cultural connotations of Confucianism to the "Dragon Field": "The dragon appears in the field" comes from the "Yi" book's Hexagram 92 of the "Qian" trigram, "Seeing the dragon in the field, it is beneficial to see a superior person," and it is an extremely auspicious sign. A dormant dragon in a deep pool, a dragon appearing in the field, a flying dragon in the sky, and a dragon reaching the peak and experiencing regret respectively represent the cycle of the four seasons and the change of the seasons. "Seeing the dragon in the field" represents the emergence of new things to replace the old ones, symbolizing the best expectations and blessings.
