Dragon Scale Notes: The Splendid or Mystical Homeland

By Lu Cheng

one

Remember for thousands of years, fabricated or forged, one vast sea recedes,

while plateaus interweave, and rivers surge,

at this point, the caves become exquisite,

and the gods are also vibrant. I saw a giant dragon lying within,

fragmented dragon scales, transforming into wonder or amazement.

I constructed a secret realm,

all beings gaze upon it, fish and shrimp traverse,

who left a string of secret words,

and carved an endless expanse on a piece of brocade,

or perhaps a leisurely door.

The melodious sound, born from the brilliance of the water cave,

expresses itself in the shimmering waves. This intangible string,

is exchanged in the grandeur of praise,

between stalactites and stalagmites,

and steps and steps.

I explored the delicate light sources,

or the colorful analogies,

searching for the prototype of the fairy tale in the tones of each sound.

Oh, I gave up the embellishment of language,

and faced this suffocating allure between heaven and earth

in a natural posture. In the swirling ponds of openness and narrowness,

I transformed into ordinary aquatic plants,

expressing freedom and smiles in the endless cycle.

two

In that metaphor of ascension and immersion, I observe the twinkling,

With the polish of metal or jewels,

Extending one after another a series of paintings.

Who was the painter? The palette was everywhere. I collected the legends,

Compiled the books. In the language system of the Dragon Palace,

I sorted out her origin or mystery, that narration

That has touched upon the realms of heaven, earth, gods, and human beings. That seems

To be a transformation that splits or perishes,

Expanding in the gentle contrast.

I have never comprehended that streak that approaches the limit and then returns to

The one and two paths of the Dragon Palace,

That emptiness slowly dissolves,

That trance, becoming the charm of jade,

Or the guideline of karst,

In that leisurely thought, building my own palace.

As if the Dragon King was on it, overlooking this hidden river,

Or the cascading waterfall, allowing the humble loneliness,

To surge with passionate rhetoric, allowing all the wonders of the world to be

Here received a unique and precise interpretation. The pen drops, and clouds rise,

I stand within it,

Comprehending that as if it were the wand of a magician.

Three

What deity has told me of compassion?

What oracular prophecy has instructed me to be cautious?

In the Heavenly Pool, a single drop of water touches my heart,

Or a flower of stone,

Her blooming form is just as I imagined,

As if in a previous life,

We were entwined sentiments or laughter,

Dancing on a clear and pristine mirror.

The scene is serene, fate is like silk. That visible or hidden

Guanyin, with her loving gaze, wiped away

Our inner sadness or desolation.

In the noble radiance,

My reverence or piety, all with the breath of a cup of tea,

Has preserved all the vicissitudes and silence of this masterpiece.

In that not-so-long journey, I seek the subtle,

Or the light-hearted theme. That sail that cannot be raised,

Passes through the heart,

Reflecting twists or happiness in the lush imagery.

At that time, the hurricane arose, and all things dissipated and then regenerated.

Those vast species, leaving behind the trivialities, became the essence of this place.

Now, the character "dragon" is written in a poem,

Reflecting that magnificent and colorful countryside and poetry.

Four

Who holds the knife of nothingness, splitting or shaping

One magnificent scene of luxury, I am unable to appreciate its worth,

Only by carrying a heart of wandering can I engrave respect and corruption.

That seems to be a storm or extravagance born from the flesh of a dragon,

Drenching the eyes of the mundane world, or making the stage even broader.

I slowly carve,

That act of art beyond the mountains and caves,

As if they are flying in the air or suspended,

Presenting their charming faces in a way we cannot comprehend.

The grand festival of June 6th seems like yesterday,

I participated in this passionate compilation,

Returning to ancient times in a sweet meal.

In the silent echoes,

Recalling the setbacks or Anya I suffered,

The illumination of that heart lamp,

Can it cross this river that is not roaring,

And place the burden of inner寄托 at the entrance of the cave.

I finally saw the majority of the grandeur of a palace,

Coming from fiction, and also from the accumulation of countless stars.

Five

The flower pond, the valley of myriad flowers, the Wanjia Cave,

The veins that I have arrayed,

Are laid out in a beautiful chess game deep within the homeland,

Or the mottled porcelain,

The play that flips between abstraction and concreteness,

At this moment, in the intervals of depicting the complex architectural aesthetics.

That faint light, reflecting and rippling, or vigorous growth.

Those visible or invisible creatures, and my shudder,

Together compose a profound volume. In that gorgeous

ornamentation, I did not forget the virtual,

But was devoted to this splendid endowment on the non-fictional background.

The flowing water or the cave, and the radiance or vividness of all things

Converge and ferment the fragrance, all dispersing in a narrow gap.

I retreat into it and then emerge from it,

In the strokes of nature, cherish this elegant place.

The interpretation of the Wei and Jin periods or even more distant ones,

The imprints of gods or dragons,

Extend the vast cultivation. A mountain peak,

Or a celebration, decoration and love constructed on nothingness.
