After entering university, my dream was to explore all the beautiful landscapes of our country during my college years. I love traveling, and truly starting to travel was when I graduated from senior year of high school and went to Yunnan for the first time. Through various experiences, I became addicted to traveling. I enjoy photography, especially during my travels. Although my skills are average, it is still a way to record the beautiful moments.
A few days ago, taking advantage of the beautiful spring weather and the warm sunshine, I made an appointment with a few friends and went to the long-awaited Anshun Longgong. Before going there, I actually had heard a lot about it: the most beautiful karst cave, "a wonder of nature", the crown of underground waterfalls, and many other praises. So I was extremely eager to visit this 5A-level national scenic spot. Finally, I could see its true appearance. The Longgong is located in the central-western city of Anshun, and it's very easy to find it by asking on Baidu. After arriving in Anshun, we took the Longgong tour bus to get there, which was very convenient.
In order to have a chance to see the Dragon Palace earlier, we set off quite early.
The sky outside the window was a deep blue, and the warm sunlight made both my body and mind feel very comfortable. The journey was filled with laughter and playful banter. Sometimes, I was also drawn to the vast fields of rape flowers on both sides of the road, which elicited continuous praises from everyone. For the first time, I felt that taking a ride was also a kind of enjoyment. Was it because this was a road leading to spring?
After getting off at Longgong Station, you will see a bridge named "Welcome to Longgong". Under the bridge is a small river with clear water, fine sand and clean stones. On both sides of the river, willows are gently swaying and peach blossoms are in full bloom, with a gentle breeze blowing. As you continue walking into the scenic area, there will be a square. On both sides of the square, cherry blossoms and peach blossoms are in full bloom, with fallen flowers scattered everywhere.
This reminded me of that line: At the tip of the apricot blossom, the bud breaks through, and the pale red fades to a rosy hue.
We continued walking while enjoying the flowers on both sides of the road. After a while, we reached the famous Dragon Palace Tianchi. The first thing we saw when looking at the Tianchi was:
In the South Sea, several words would appear: Clear and emerald green. The beautiful tour guide told us that the Tianchi is a deep pool over 30 meters deep, and its water color is clear and bright throughout the year. In the shallower parts of the pool, the water is crystal clear. We looked around and felt really comfortable. Especially around the Tianchi, there are many ancient trees that block the sky and the sun. Coupled with the fact that we were walking on the quiet and serene path, it couldn't help but make our souls calm.
Remember that Lu Wan once wrote:
The spring rain doesn't cease at night, and the mountain in the dream is also overcast. The azure pool in the clouds, the dark path with red flower groves. The water of the flower pool is of varying depths, and no one knows its ancient and modern history. The night is quiet and the spring dream lasts long. The dream follows the immortal traveler on the mountain. The garden is filled with orchids and herbs, and chickens and dogs are beside the fences. Here and there, people are sitting under the flowers, watching me grow old.
We continued walking forward and heard the sound of the rushing water. The next scene was astonishing. There was an elliptical opening several stories high, and a waterfall cascaded down from the top of the opening. The sound was deafening and quite spectacular. It was the first time I had seen a waterfall inside a cave. According to the records in the Book of Ku Bei, the Longmen Waterfall is a cave waterfall formed by the water from Tianchi. It has a magnificent气势, and during the rainy season, it often has a grand and powerful sound, like a herd of horses galloping. After seeing this, the name truly lives up to its reputation.
Keep walking forward and you will reach the most anticipated sight - the underground river cave of "Chinese Beautiful Water-Soluble Cave". The tour guide told us that the Longgong Water-Soluble Cave is 15 kilometers long, ranking first in the country. It is unparalleled among other similar scenic spots discovered in China. Even the great poet Ai Qing praised it: "A great wonder in nature." After the Chinese cave experts came, they also expressed their admiration: "Exploring Longgong reveals the wonders of the world's water caves. Riding a small boat to visit the fairyland on earth."
Apart from the water-soluble cave, there is another wonderful place - the Longdong Guanyin Cave, the largest cave temple in China. I think its most unique feature is that all the halls are natural caves, with Guanyin and Buddha statues inside, which seem to be integrated seamlessly. The tour guide told us that the overall area of Guanyin Cave is over 20,000 square meters, with 32 artificial-carved Buddha statues, among which the Guanyin statue is 12.6 meters tall. The more we looked at it, the more we felt its uniqueness and wonder. Tourists and believers coming and going offered prayers with great devotion.
In fact, whenever I visit a place, it's not just to admire the beautiful scenery there, but also to get to know the local people and chat with them,
to experience their happiness. And the local cuisine. When I talk with the locals, I truly feel the simplicity and authenticity of this place, the plain local customs,
the genuine happiness of the people, and the unique living atmosphere that makes one feel comfortable.
I love the unique water caves of Longgong, I love the Peach Blossom Village with its picturesque scenery, I appreciate the simple folk customs here, and I also enjoy the many delicious foods in this place.
The springtime is just right, the sunshine is warm. Let's meet at Longgong in Anshun, relax our minds and fully enjoy ourselves!
