On April 10th, we went on a group tour to Longgong. The schedule wasn't very tight. We set off from the Da Changlong Supermarket entrance of the Guiyang Railway Station for breakfast. It was around 8 o'clock. We took a small tourist bus. It took about an hour to reach Longgong, which was very convenient. Along the way, we saw many tourist buses like ours. If you want to visit Longgong, you can choose this way because it's very convenient and fast. The ticket for Longgong is 150 yuan. If you take the one-day tour on Ctrip, it might be more affordable because it's a group tour. This is how I did it and I felt it was okay. If you are a student, you can get a half-price discount by bringing your student ID, but it might be more expensive and troublesome to travel by bus. If you take the one-day tour on Ctrip, students should also have some relative discounts. So, there's no need to worry.

When visiting the Dragon Palace, it is recommended to hire a guide. Because many of the attractions inside may not be fully understood by oneself without a guide. If you are a bit of a wanderer, it would be best to travel in groups or to follow a tour group led by a guide, as the Dragon Palace is really very large. Be careful not to get lost. Then,

Since I went there relatively early, there were basically no tour groups, so it wasn't very crowded. The scenery was very nice, and the guide explained it very carefully.

Taking a boat ride is my favorite tourist activity. Once you enter the Dragon Palace, both the first and second visits are very enjoyable. The cave is very beautiful, and it really gives you a feeling similar to that of a tomb robbery novel. After the cave, we came to the Guanyin Cave. There was incense burning there, and in front of the Buddha statue, there was a donation box. You could put money in it to light incense. Of course, the amount of money would depend on your own intention. There was no specific requirement on how much to donate. Besides, there were also wishing boards. You could write your requests on them and hang them in the cave. There would be a designated place for you to hang them. Many years later, if you have the chance to come to the Dragon Palace again, seeing the things you wrote is such a meaningful thing. I don't recommend taking photos in the Guanyin Cave. After all, to me, the Buddha hall is a very sacred place. So you could put your hands together and make the most sincere prayer. With a sincere heart, it will work. At the entrance of the Buddha hall, there would be many local people selling incense. Actually, you don't need to buy it. There is incense in the Buddha hall as well. Because it might be expensive, to avoid losing money.

After leaving the Buddhist temple, you can either take a boat or drive to Xuan Tang to return to the tourist center. It is strongly recommended to take a boat. Coming to the Dragon Palace without taking a boat would be a real pity. Besides, the scenery on both sides of the boat route is so beautiful that you won't want to leave. The large boats can accommodate about ten people each. On both sides of the river, there are willow trees.

The greenery here feels great, as if you are wandering in a painting. You will have a feeling of being in Jiangnan, Foshan or Hangzhou. Anyway, when going to the Dragon Palace, I strongly recommend that you definitely take a boat. Definitely, definitely, definitely take a boat.

After playing for about 1 o'clock, we took the bus at the tourist center. There was a street selling ethnic costumes, which allowed us to take one home as a memento.

It was also very practical. Most of them were made by hand by the locals. I especially liked a shawl. The price wasn't expensive. There was also a suggestion to play backwards.

The last part was to go to the central scenic area. Because there, we could take a bus back to Anshun. If we took the train, we would arrive back in Anshun around 2:30. We had to catch the nearest train at 3 o'clock.

Then we could take the No. 255 bus to the University Town. There are usually buses at other railway stations as well. However, I took a car.

It was very convenient. We got off at Huaguoqiao and took Bus 207 to get back to school. There were buses to the railway station and Jinyang Bus Station (the distance from Jinyang to the railway station is quite far) from there. At the Jinyang Bus Station, we could also take a bus. The bus stop is on the right side of the station, but it's crowded and there might be traffic jams. However, there are many illegal taxis. Although they are a bit expensive, they are relatively safe. These taxis operate there all year round.

After returning to school, I was still quite tired. I had a quick meal at the food court and then went back to my dormitory. Because I had already eaten at the scenic area in the morning and only came back later.

There were restaurants for tourists there. The food was quite good and the environment inside was also nice. There was a park around the restaurant. After having the meal, you could walk around freely. Taking a 100-step walk after the meal is good for health and longevity.

This trip was very enjoyable. The Dragon Palace is definitely worth visiting.
