I often wonder why the majority of people always tend to pursue the outside world. The places they are accustomed to seem to leave them with nothing but tiredness and boredom, as if they were tasteless and dull. Over the years, there have been various voices in my ears, shouting things like "Life should have at least two spurts of passion, one for an all-out love, and the other for a sudden journey." "Life is like a journey. It doesn't matter where you end up, what matters is the scenery along the way and the mood while enjoying it." Thus, there emerged various meanings of traveling, such as "The world is so big, I want to go out and see it."

Yes, the world is so vast, but I have confined myself too tightly. The reasons are complex yet strangely simple. It's because of the budget, because of my mood, because I don't know whether my companions will be alone or in a group, one or two. Entering university, I indeed haven't ventured to every place I wanted to go. In the past two years, my life has been very rigid.

At the beginning of this year, I wrote in my diary that I didn't want to live my life like an insurance box, like a valueless yet pretentious doll lying inside the box, with an age that would come after a while, not being crazy, not being too silent, living lightly and transparently. So, without hesitation, I came to the Dragon Palace. However, recently, I have been in a state of confusion in time, anxious about myself who is graduating next year's today, and徘徊ing outside all the unfinished and yet-to-start stories.

I came here for the Dragon Palace, and also to seek myself. I came with a purpose. I wanted to step out of the "my perception" world. I always thought that as a native rural child who had seen the mountains and rivers and understood the hardships, the constant presence of green mountains and flowing waters should not have much appeal to me. I was indeed young and naive. Once, when chatting about travel with a fellow student from another province, I casually expressed my views. He explained them very logically with a smile. I was ashamed of my completely opposite opinions. I was so captivated by what he said. Finally, he said, "You really should go out and see for yourself. This world doesn't have so many 'what I thought'." This sentence truly touched my heart. Instantly, I felt there was indeed a heavy leadstone on my feet. But "What surprises people, still needs to be within people's expectations." My gains seemed unexpected to me. In such a Dragon Palace, it was inevitable.

As soon as I entered the Dragon Palace, my companions around me began to "click, click, click" taking pictures, finding angles, lying on the ground, with various postures. This scene is exactly a vivid portrayal of "Behind the scenery lies more scenery, and the person recording the story is the story itself". Beautiful things always make people want to hold onto them, such as photos, such as words, such as deep thoughts and faint memories. Every place has a desire to be possessed, just in different ways. When I pressed the shutter at that moment, I instantly felt that I could take this memory back, beautiful, great, and touching. One day, when I open these memories and beauty captured by the camera with parameters like focus, aperture, and sensitivity, there will be a wonderful past and a tender place.

The Dragon Palace is truly a place of deep emotion. It is mysterious and the dragon culture is carried forward splendidly. The 9th son of the Fangxiu, before I had a very shallow understanding of cultural knowledge, I only knew it. Not only this, in this mountainous area, I began to understand nature. It was no longer the geographical knowledge that I had memorized thoroughly in high school.

Karst landform is extremely familiar in Guizhou. Familiar though it is, I knew that it would produce caves, but I had never seen them. I knew that there would be lush stone forests, but I had never walked through them. Entering the serene Dragon King Palace, I was amazed at the interconnected caves. The stalactites, stalagmites, pillars, curtains, limestone variegation and spring variegation mingled in the dappled light, but they couldn't stop my reverence for it. This is the power of karst. Day and night, I don't know if it's the water flow, temperature and other various conditions that have long-term cooperation and understanding. Sometimes, I would say long-winded love poems to nature, but they were empty and vague. Completely different from the vibration I received when walking among the caves and touching the cold rock wall of the cave, at this moment. Returning to myself, the restless life here naturally gave rise to a kind of calmness. In the Dragon Palace, I was like a comforted child, always having a voice, "Don't be impatient, don't be rash..." 。 "The ancients, when observing the heavens, mountains, rivers, plants, insects, fish and birds, often gained some insights. My insights might have been about myself."

Walking is also a form of spiritual practice. With a devout attitude, I came here. I broke free from such a life: "Not interviewing, not on the way to interview; not writing, not on the way to submit; not attending a meeting, not on the way to the meeting." On the journey, for encountering better scenery, for becoming a better self.

Facing the gentle breeze, gazing at the bright moon, climbing the mountain and wading through the water, with a heart full of joy, singing.
