Currently, the epidemic situation is severe abroad, and local areas have reported local cases. The city's epidemic prevention and control is facing dual risks from both abroad and within the country. The epidemic prevention and control cannot be relaxed at any time. We must continue to adhere to the prevention strategy of "preventing importation and preventing resurgence within the country", follow the "four early" principles, strictly implement the responsibilities of all parties, be strict, tight, scientific, and precise, and effectively control and reduce the risk of epidemic transmission. In light of the recent characteristics of the domestic epidemic, the Municipal Health Bureau reminds as follows:

1. Fulfill personal epidemic prevention responsibilities

At present, the Omicron variant of the novel coronavirus is spreading globally. This strain has a short incubation period, strong transmission ability, and fast transmission speed. Please pay close attention to the development and changes of the domestic epidemic situation, and minimize cross-provincial travel. For people coming (returning) to Anqing from overseas, from high-risk areas in China, areas with local positive cases reported, local cities outside the province, and low-risk areas outside the province, please report to the relevant units, townships (streets), villages (residents) or hotels (hotels) immediately and cooperate to implement centralized isolation, home-based health monitoring, self-health observation, nucleic acid testing and other epidemic prevention measures.

2. Comprehensively strengthen the investigation and control of key places

At airports, stations, road checkpoints and other transportation hubs, hotels, guesthouses, homestays, schools and other units should strengthen investigation and control, and strictly implement various epidemic prevention measures such as temperature measurement, code verification, and nucleic acid proof checking in accordance with relevant regulations. If risk individuals are found, report them to the relevant industry authorities, townships (streets), villages (residents) and other relevant departments in a timely manner, and cooperate to implement control measures.

3. Persist in not relaxing self-protection

Citizens are required to be the first person responsible for their own health. Continue to adhere to the "three sets of measures" for epidemic prevention (wearing masks, maintaining social distance, and paying attention to personal hygiene), remember the "five musts" for protection (wearing masks must be done, maintaining social distance must be maintained, covering coughs and sneezes must be done, washing hands frequently must be done, and windows must be kept open as much as possible), and truly enhance personal protection awareness. Do self-health monitoring and report, seek medical treatment, and self-isolate immediately if you have symptoms such as fever, dry cough, fatigue, loss of smell or taste, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, conjunctivitis, muscle pain and diarrhea that are suspected of being COVID-19.
